- Alberta Ski
Resorts - Snow reports and weather.
- Bow Waters Canoe
Club Bow Waters Canoe Club, established in 1972, is a group of
people who enjoy paddling the rivers of Alberta, British Columbia and
beyond! In addition to organizing over 100 river tours, we also offer
equipment rentals, lessons, youth programs, social events and a
newsletter. In winter, a Nordic skiing schedule and Jackrabbit Program
provide lots of activity between paddling seasons.

Broomball in Calgary and the world. The league in Calgary is well
organized and controlled by the main body; the Calgary Broomball
Association. There are presently two leagues; one being the men's league
and the other, the ladie's league.

Beach Volleyball Association The Calgary Beach Volleyball
Association (CBVA) is a non-profit, volunteer run organization that has
been serving volleyball enthusiasts in Calgary through its leagues and
tournaments for the past 8 years. CBVA’s mission statement is as
follows: To be dedicated towards increasing awareness of beach
volleyball by Youth Program providing quality events and nurturing a
friendly, enjoyable CBVA environment in which to participate as well as
spectate.

Blizzard Soccer Club - Promotes and encourages soccer in the
Northwest area of the City of Calgary. The Club began in 1967 when
Marino Sedran and Gordon Hawkins took a team of 11 and 12 year old
Calgary boys to represent the Province of Alberta at an EXPO 67 soccer
competition in Montreal.
- Calgary Cannons -
The Cannons organization has been a model member of the National
Association of Professional Baseball ever since joining the Triple-A
ranks. The franchise has twice won the Pacific Coast League's
prestigious John H. Johnson award, acknowledging long-term franchise
stability. The organization has been a leader in innovative approaches
to marketing and promotions. The club is proud to consistently deliver
what it promises: fun and affordable entertainment for the entire
family.

Club - Competitive and recreational paddling.
- Calgary Flames -
Calgary´s NHL Hockey team. In the space of 18 years, the Calgary Flames
have become one of the premier franchises in the NHL -- on and off the
ice. Won first Stanley Cup (1988-89); two Presidents' Trophies, first
overall, (1987-88, 1988-89); two Clarence Campbell Conference titles
(1985-86, 1988-89); three season and two Smythe Division playoff
championships; two Pacific Division titles; and several NHL individual
and team honors; and numerous attendance records.

Parks & Recreation - Calgary Parks & Recreation's 14
athletic parks and community playfields provide a variety of first-class
sporting and leisure facilities, including: 169 tennis courts, 310 ball
diamonds, and 285 soccer/football fields, as well as field hockey, track
& field, cycling, and hockey venues. Some facilities require booking
and permits; others can be used on a drop-in basis.

Sports Society - The University of Calgary Diving Club was formed by
Lawrence Smuk (Michaels) in 1973. Their mandate is as follows, to
promote competetive diving through: The pursuit of excellence at the
provincial, national and international level. The provision of an
on-going recruitment and developmental program for all ages of divers.
The promotion of the sport of diving to the general public.
- Jacee´s Slo Pitch
Park - Jaycee Park has extablished itself as a "premier softball
facility" in Alberta, attracting over 50,000 players and spectators each
year. This family orientated recreational facility features: Ten
professionally designed softball fields, ample parking, and a fully
protected children’s playground. Ninety-six teams can be accommodated
for weekend tournaments and social events.
